I didn't realise breakbeats and ambient techno could go so well together, but Skee Mask achieves awesome stuff on this record. humongouslomghonogoufungus

Breathtaking release! Immersion's resonant bass carries the song through a shimmering soundscape. Deep Freeze follows with a beautiful dark atmosphere. Subdued percussion, distant white noise washes, and charming melody could serve as a motif for another world. Constant is reminiscent of ASC's Mindspan alias, however a clear progression can be heard in the song structure. Finally, Raging Seas offers fine crafted percussion that drives through a turbulent alien seascape. c²³

Storegga Slide is an absolute minimalist banger (icy washes floating over a beautiful even keeled pulsing growl and a deliciously solid kick) that seems almost menacing in its clinical relentlessness. But it's Chordelia that takes that growling pulse and takes it to an ecstatic, glorious, syncopated height. Love playing this loud! Diarmaid Collins / Lustbader / DK+DI / PresidentAndroid
